The last two years, dominated by the COVID-19 pandemic, have very much reduced the direct interaction between producers and clients, in all sectors of the economy. Also, the present economic context and the transformation of the national economy and the european one makes networking with partners, exchange of information and direct meeting with the buyers more important than ever before. This is why we have created CoBuild, the first construction equipment festival type fair in Eastern Europe..

About COBUILD
It is the most important event of the year in Romania and in Central and Eastern Europe, that is dedicated to the heavy machinery sector and construction technologies. At COBUILD the exhibitors will present their latest and their best heavy machinery and construction technologies, they will organize demonstrations in a specially created area, they will meet new business partners and they will have meaningful conversations during conferences and presentations. Through this event, COBUILD wishes to support the growth of the construction sector and the construction equipment at a national and regional level, bringing together in a common space the most important players in the market.

Time and place

The COBUILD event will take place during a period of 3 days, from the 30th of September till the 2nd of October. CoBuild will occupy a surface of 60.000 square meters in the town of Ciugud, the county of Alba, which is our logistical partner.

About Ciugud

The town of Ciugud, located in the county of Alba, is a benchmark in Romania in terms of integrating new technologies and due to the efficient use of european funds for sustainable growth. Ciugud is an example of best practices in Europe because its record absorption of european funds: approximately 35 million euros, which means, at a population of 3.500 inhabitants, 10.000 euros per capita.

Ciugud is a promoter of the ‘smart village’ concept and, since 2020, is a case study for the Romanian Government, who wants to expand this concept to the whole country.

Ciugud is a renowned business destination, because it has an area of economic growth where over 40 companies work and a total of almost 1.000 employees. The Economic Growth Area Ciugud-Drâmbar is one the best shaped ‘greenfield’ industrial areas situated in the center of Romania.

For all these reasons, but mostly because its open and friendly community with the business environment, we chose the town of Ciugud as the host of COBUILD.

Organizers
The COBUILD event is organized by Audiență Generală AG SRL, which has over 16 years of experience in publishing trade magazines and organizing events Asociația 11even, which has over 10 years of experience in organizing events, and Avanti Marketing Agency, specialized in promoting construction equipment.
