When you purchase a service provided by AC, as well as when you participate in fairs/exhibitions organized by AC, we collect personal data related to the provision of those services. Also, as a visitor to AC’s exhibitions/fairs/conferences, we collect personal data (image, data processed through video surveillance systems, etc.) to fulfill legal obligations and carry out regular activities (legitimate interest).

Transfer of Personal Data Abroad

Transferring to AC’s companies/organizations in third countries, outside the EU, is only carried out after ensuring a level of protection corresponding to that in the EU. We inform you that any transfer made by the Company in an EU member state complies with the requirements set out by the GDPR.

Here, we determine the category to which your data belongs, based on the information you provide, for an automatic classification based on interests/needs (automated decision-making). We use your data to send you the NEWSLETTER you ordered, to carry out/organize/administer this NEWSLETTER (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR), or to send you informational and advertising mailings from AC, as well as invitations to AC’s events (“legitimate economic interest” as an advertising company, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). According to European directive regulations on data deletion, data is only stored as long as necessary to serve its storage purpose.

All the information you provide us by accessing these internet pages is stored on a server located in a European Union (“EU”) country and transmitted to the competent entities of AC and its affiliated companies/organizations in the country and abroad, to address your requests and wishes. Transmission to third parties occurs only within legal obligations or to our service providers, in processing data for others (Art. 4 No. 9 GDPR).

Transferring to AC’s companies/organizations in third countries, outside the EU, is only carried out after ensuring a level of protection corresponding to that in the EU. For guaranteeing the level of protection, we use the EU’s standard contractual clauses.

We use your data to send you the NEWSLETTER you ordered, to carry out/organize/administer this NEWSLETTER (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR), or to send you informational and advertising mailings from AC, as well as invitations to AC’s events (“legitimate economic interest” as an advertising company, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

You have the right to request the deletion, rectification, or limitation of the processing of your data. You can also request information about the content and volume of your recorded data. Moreover, you have the right to recover your personal data, in an appropriate format, or through its transmission by AC. You have the possibility, at any time, to object to the storage and processing of your data, as well as to an individual automated decision, with future effect. These rules also apply if you have given us a declaration of consent for the use of your data (Art. 6, para. 1, lit. a). Objections can be addressed informally, by mail or email, without the need to state reasons. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority.

Retention Period of Personal Data

We will retain your personal data only for the time necessary for the processing purposes presented above and in compliance with the legal provisions in force.

For data processing for the purpose of browsing the Site and using cookie modules, the retention duration will be in accordance with the cookie policy.

In case the data processing is no longer necessary for providing a service, for fulfilling a legal obligation, and is not justified by a legitimate interest of AC, you can refuse such processing or withdraw your previously given consent, the refusal will have effects for the future. AC’s newsletters are sent through specialized and approved partners of AC. Thus, confidentiality and security of information are ensured.

When the visitor registers on the Site, they have the possibility to express their consent to receive Newsletters. The visitor can change their option regarding the consent issued to AC at any time by contacting AC in this regard or by accessing the unsubscribe link displayed in the commercial messages received from AC. Access to the contact list in the mobile application
In the mobile application, the recommendation module can be activated through which the Partner can offer customers a benefit if they recommend the mobile application to other people. On this page, the application requests access to the contact list only to complete the recommendation form. The contact list is not sent to the Administrator’s servers, being used exclusively for completing the recommendation form.

The above-mentioned personal data may also be made available to third parties in the following situations: (a) public authorities, auditors, or competent institutions with the competence to inspect the Company’s activities or assets, which require the Company to provide information under its legal obligation. Such public authorities or institutions can be; (b) to fulfill a legal requirement or to protect the rights and assets of our Company or other entities or persons, such as courts; (c) to third-party acquirers, to the extent that the Company’s activity is (totally or partially) transferred, and the data of the persons concerned will be part of the assets representing the subject of the transaction.
For data processing in the context of organizing promotional campaigns, the retention period will be throughout the campaign, and subsequently, the data will be stored in accordance with archiving rules and for protecting legitimate interests.

For data processing for direct marketing communication, the retention period of data will last until the withdrawal of consent or unsubscription.

For conducting opinion surveys, market studies, customer satisfaction evaluation studies, or obtaining feedback on our products and services, the data will be retained for the duration necessary to achieve the purpose of the survey.

  5. The right to object to data processing for reasons related to your specific situation when processing is based on legitimate interest, and to object at any time to data processing for direct marketing purposes, including profiling;
  6. The right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning the data subject or similarly significantly affects them;
  7. The right to data portability, meaning the right to receive the personal data you have provided to the operator in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit this data to another operator, if the processing is based on your consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means;
  8. The right to file complaints with the data protection authority and the right to address a competent court.

According to the General Data Protection Regulation No. 679/2016 (GDPR), your request must be fulfilled by the operator within a maximum of one month.
